At Pitts & Sons Towing and Recovery, we understand how frustrating and challenging it can be to have your vehicle impounded. That’s why we’ve streamlined the process to retrieve your vehicle or personal belongings, ensuring it is as easy and stress-free as possible.
In order to retrieve your vehicle from our impound, you’ll need to furnish a few crucial documents:
- The first thing we need is your valid driver’s license or an alternative government-issued photo ID. This step is necessary to confirm your identity and ensure the vehicle is being returned to its rightful owner.
- Additionally, we require proof of ownership. This could be either a tow receipt from the impounding police agency or a vehicle registration document with an ID that matches the name on it. We need to authenticate your ownership to protect both parties from any potential legal issues.
When it comes to handling impound fees, we strive to make the payment process smooth for our clients.
We accept CASH or MONEY ORDER payments ONLY, as we do NOT accept credit cards or checks for vehicles released from impound. This way, we can provide a more efficient and secure payment method, reducing any further delays in releasing your vehicle.
Please note, if your vehicle has been placed on hold by a police agency, you’ll first need to contact them to arrange release before coming to us. This is because we need official confirmation from the relevant police agency that all legal matters are resolved.
Remember, Pitts & Sons Towing and Recovery is here to help make your vehicle impound experience as painless as possible. Let us assist you in navigating through the necessary steps to reclaim your vehicle promptly.
